Irrigation systems have main and lateral water supply lines. The main line delivers water from the pump or domestic water supply through the backflow prevention device to the sprinkler system manifold and valves. Lateral lines deliver water from the valves to the drip irrigation lines or sprinkler heads.
Main lines and lateral lines are typically diameter, flexible and easy-to-repair, high pressure rated polyethylene.
Indoor (e.g., basement) plumbing connections (pipes and fittings) will match existing conditions and can be copper, galvanized steel, PVC, or PEX cross-linked polyethylene pipe.
