If you're looking for an efficient way to water large areas that uses 20% less water than noisy, impact-driven rotor heads, you’re found the right supplier. At Irrigation Tech, we specialize in providing high-quality, quiet, gear-driven rotor solutions that will keep your lawn healthy  in  the early morning hours while you are trying to sleep.

Sprinkler head technology has advanced significantly over the last several years. Newer heads offer more uniform water distribution, improved precipitation rates, fewer repairs, and significant water savings. That’s money in your pocket - and if being GREEN is important to you, a step in the right direction.

Older, noisy impact-driven rotor sprinkler heads designed to cover medium-to-large turf areas have been replaced by quiet, and more efficient pop-up gear-driven rotating sprinkler heads that move in a full or partial circular pattern, require less maintenance, and because they can be more finely ‘tuned’ to the coverage area, use 20% less water.

Both impact- and gear-driven rotor heads move in a full or partial circular pattern to deliver a steady stream of water over a radius of 15 feet or more. Depending on the size and the available water pressure, these devices can reach more than 100 feet, making them ideal for larger areas.

More Reliable - Additionally, one of the most common reasons for the service calls we receive is for an impact-driven rotor that is no longer rotating. This happens because debris that washes into the case floats so that when the head retracts into the case some of the debris becomes caught in the swing arm or the swing arm spring and jams the head so that it can no longer rotate.

Better All Around - Gear-driven heads eliminate the malfunctions and inconvenient service calls common to impact-driven heads because they have a closed case that debris cannot enter. Gear-driven heads also distribute water more evenly than impact-driven heads, using 10%-20% less water while maintaining a healthier greener lawn.

We use sprinkler heads manufactured by Hunter Industries and Rain Bird®.
